Best catches for January were as follows:
Tommy Dickson, Dunbar, had one at 13lb 8oz on a rainbow lure.
Jim Skilling, Shotts, had one at 11lb and also 3 for 15lb 8oz on a white rabbit.
T. Wight had a nine pounder on a yellow dancer and James Fleming one at 8lb 8oz on black humungus.
B. Wallace took 3 for 10lb 12oz on buzzers, whilst Tommy Dickson had a 12lb specimen on a orange blob. Neil Keillor, Dunbar, had a ten pounder on Diawl Bach.
Jack Stevenson, Ormiston, had a 9lb beauty on a yellow dancer and Jock Dyet and George Bunce both had 11 each on c&r using damsels, diawl bachs, and black lures.
Shane Kelly and Ian Dobbie had an outstanding trip on c&r taking 32 and 21 respectively! Bloodworm patterns were the successful tactic.
Matt Devine, Hadston, had 11 on c&r, including two beauties at 14lb 8oz and 10lb 4oz again on bloodworm - he followed this great day up with another trip that yielded 12 with one at 16lb 4oz on a zonker!
Keith Watson had 3 for 14lb on bloodworm too.
Peter Craig, Dunbar, had two at 14lb and 10lb respectively on bloodworm patterns, yet again.
East Linton's John Thomson had a 12lb specimen again on bloodworm.
Jim Skilling had a great few days taking up to 21 in a c&r session mainly to orange blobs and black bunny.
Jack Hay, after an enforced absence, got his first of the season, an 11lb specimen, using a yellow dancer - not a bad start to his year!
